NAME Hands On is an opportunity for college students to spend a semester or a year engaging the peoples of North Africa and the Middle East with the gospel. Students are well-trained and work alongside a NAME field team, diving into front-line mission work and being mentored along the way.
It is for students who have completed at least one year of college and want to serve overseas for one or two semesters. Hands On is a great opportunity for students interested in exploring future international service, and it serves as a great gap year experience.

Come help support a vital work in an un-engaged sector of an exciting North African megacity! Help build upon a foundation for a work that we pray will bear fruit for years to come! Assist as an ESL teacher in a community development center, utilizing the ways God has gifted you to engage with the young adults in our city. As a teacher, you will not only help these people improve their lives, but will also have abundant opportunity to communicate the truth of God’s love to the next generation. The position will offer some natural fluidity. We want you to effectively use your talents and gifts! Yes, you will teach English, but also want to offer you the opportunity to use your talents, passions, hobbies, etc. for the sake of the Kingdom. Come expecting to work side by side with a field team that is committed to and passionate about the Gospel! Our goals for you will be firstly that you abide abundantly in Christ while you are with us. We want you sharing your faith out of an overflow of what Jesus is doing in you. We will also need some help running our newly established community center. Bring a hard-working attitude, a selfless heart for service, and all your fresh ideas.
